Logging In to Smart City Connect for the First Time

To log in to Smart City Connect:

  1. On your iPhone or Android smartphone, open the Smart City Connect mobile app that you installed previously.

The Smart City Login dialog box displays.

2. Type your pre-assigned Login Name in the following format:

ext@customerdomainname

The ‘ext’ is your user extension and ‘customerdomainname’ is your email address domain (Example: 1001@smartcity).

NOTE: Do not include ‘.com’ in your login name.

3. Type your Password.

4. Press Log In.

NOTE: If you do not know or forgot your login name or password, press the links above the Log In button and follow the instructions. Contact your company’s administrator if you have any issues with accessing the Smart City Connect mobile app.

The Smart City Connect mobile app may need permission to access certain information or perform certain tasks on your smartphone. Review each screen that displays and allow or deny access accordingly. Below is an example permission screen.

After you review the permission screens, you are now ready to start using the Smart City Connect mobile app.

NOTE: You only need to review the mobile app permissions the first time you log in to the Smart City Connect mobile app or if you uninstall and then reinstall the app.

NOTE: Once you are logged in to the Smart City Connect mobile app, an icon may show at the top of your smartphone screen to indicate that the mobile app is running in the background.
